"When Michal Met Amy"

Singer-songwriter and an actress Michal Shapira introduced her latest project – “When Michal met Amy”, a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse, in 2014. This revelation, Jazz as a common ground for both Amy and Michal, pushed her to create this unique Jazz performance. Michal sings Amy’s greatest hits (“Rehab”, “Back To Black”, “Valerie” and more) alongside less known songs that Michal came across during her research, Jazz classics and some of Amy’s favorite songs such as: “It’s My Party”, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow,” “Round Midnight” and more. The show is a passionate Jazzy – Cabaret trip, throughout Amy’s music and life. Revealing the stories behind the songs.
